Attempted to read or write protected memory.

I'm getting often the above error. I'm using the latest version 16 SP2.
Any hints?. I was using version 15 without any problem.

    Code:
    System.AccessViolationException was unhandled

    Hi Mike

Do you have any hints how to reproduce this issue? Do you get this on loading a document or something else?

Thanks for as many information you can share. I really want to reproduce this issue to provide you a fix soon.

Its very difficult to say whats happening. TxTextControl is part of a huge program. I would like if its possible to give me a NON obfuscated version of txtools to debug

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Björn
I'm asking again if its possible to give me a NON obfucated version of txtools so it will be possible to exactly locate the problem. I need only the txtools.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Mike,
I am sorry, but a non-obfuscated version is not available.

Re: Attempted to read or write protected memory.

    Mike,
I understand, but this is not possible I am afraid.
Did you try to reproduce the issue on another machine or do you have any additional information about that issue?

Re: Attempted to read or write protected memory.

    Gunnar,
Thank you very much. I think that i've found the cause of the problem. I have a tabpage that contains a Txtextcontrol. When the tabpage is removed i didn't dispose it so the txttextcontrols remains in memory. After the tabpage dispose i dont get the error anymore. I'm not sure if this permanently fix the problem but for now we are OK. It will be nice if at least the stacktrace of a txtextcontrol error is not been obfuscated so it will be easier for you to help us.

    Thanks again
    Mike Evans
