Installation

I am trying to install RapidSpell trial on my Windows 7 computer and it will not install. It hangs right at the end of the install and just sits there until I eventually have to end task on it.

I have tried running as administrator and still no luck.

Re: Installation

Which version do you use?
Did you install the latest version?

Re: Installation

I just tested that on my Windows 7 x64 OS and the setup went good.
Could you please redownload the setup and try again?

Re: Installation

I have done this. That was the first thing I tried when it wasn't successful the first time.

Re: Installation

The only thing that I'm doing that you may not be doing is changing the install path to D:\ and keeping the rest of the path the same.

Re: Installation

Do you have UAC active?
What happens if you deactivate UAC and install to the default path?

Re: Installation

I have tried running as admin
Turning off UAC and running as admin
Tried installing to the default path

All with the same results. It gets to what looks like about 99% on the progress bar and just hangs at that point.

Re: Installation

Sorry that the setup did not work properly yet.
Could you please enable logging for the setup and provide me the log.txt?
To enable logging , please run the following command in a console in the same folder where the setup has been saved to start the setup:
Code:
msiexec /i TX-Text-Control-RapidSpell.NET-Setup-15.4.1.msi /l*v log.txt
The log file size will probably too big to attach as TXT, so I suggest to attach it as ZIP archive.
Thanks for your help.
