Help on columns
Hi, we have the need of display two columns of text in a page, one column in a language and the other in another language, side by side, flowing down automatically in parallel on the pages.
We cannot use the frame because it does not automatically extend in next page when text has filled it; we cannot also use the table, because of the limited quantity of text that can fit in a single row (about 15-20000 characters) and bypassing a row start a new formatting. Adding two columns in a page may be the best solution only if we can force each column to extend only vertically. There is a way to have each column to extend the text in the next page instead of going to next column of same page ? Many thanks, Carlo |

Re: Help on columns
Hello Carlo,
I am sorry, but that is not possible. The text will always flow into the next column, which basically is the way columns are supposed to work.
